I. INTRODUCTION
The present complicated situation caused by the diffusion of COVID-19 raises a number of questions related to the settlement of the commercial relationships. The biggest preoccupation is in the fact that the termination of lot of activities causes a perceptible reduction in the turnover of the traders who have rent contracts of commercial space, making it difficult for them to fulfill their contractual obligations and to pay the rental price.

I. Funding by the European Commission
The European Commission has approved a public guarantee scheme of BGN 500 million (approximately EUR 255 million) in support of small and medium-sized enterprises in the context of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
